Appendix D: The CSF File

The CSF file is used to control benchmark reports, ByColumn reports, column comparisons, and consolidations.  Some are created automatically when you use the “Create Groupings” feature, and others are built and maintained manually using a text editor such as Notepad.  The primary contents of the CSF file is a list of MTX files, and a list of column names to use on reports.  The CSF file should reside in the same data folder as the MTX files that it references.
