Budgeting Module
SurvivalWare lets you create a budget for next year, or view the one already created for the current year. You can use the Forecast Tool in the budgeting module to automatically generate budget numbers based on an increase vs. prior year or statistical trends. The Automator icon is available in this module to run a customized budget import. One franchise customer uses this option to import Next Year’s budget from a pre-designed Excel template.
A budget is a statement of a goal, or a commitment to a plan. The Budgeting module is to help you prepare the “Next Year Budget” by making forecasting functions available based on history. The “Current Year Budget” is displayed for reference purposes because typically, you do not change the budget during the course of the year. Click the Budget icon to navigate into the Budget Data Viewer.
