Getting Started with SurvivalWare
The first thing you need to do to seriously begin using this product is to get your data into SurvivalWare. This is called importing data. There are four steps to this process:
1. Exporting your data from your accounting package to a CSV file.
2. Creating a company in SurvivalWare.
3. Mapping the line items in the CSV file (needs to be done only once).
4. Loading the data from the CSV file.
This is all you have to do to seriously begin using SurvivalWare. Each month you will probably want to load new data into the package – this only requires step 1 and 4. Step 2 (creating a company) and step 3 (row mapping) only needs to be performed once.
