Simple Trend

 

Select Simple Trend, then click on the Forecast button to create a budget using a simple trend based on historical data.  The simple trend is computed by SurvivalWare by fitting a straight line to the historical data, computing the slope, and carrying the line forward as the forecast, then converting the line values to numbers back into the cells.
