Step 1:  Exporting  data to a .CSV file

 

SurvivalWare is set up to recognize the standard export format used by Quickbooks, as well as generic Excel or CSV (Comma Separated Value) formats used by many other programs.  The key is to generate standard reports (Profit and Loss Statement, and Balance Sheet) in QuickBooks or other sources, and then export the reports to CSV files.  We recommend you name these files something like Mycompanyname BS.CSV for the balance sheet file, and Mycompanyname PL.CSV for the profit and loss statement file.
