What is Row Mapping?

 

Mapping is the process used to match your chart of accounts with the chart of accounts provided with the SurvivalWare model (Fort Knox).  During mapping, you go through each account, line-by-line, making decisions about where each account should go in the SurvivalWare Model chart of accounts.  It is very easy to do this process.  In a nutshell, you simply drag rows from the left pane of the screen (which contains the accounts from your financial statements) to a row on the right pane of the screen (which contains the accounts from the SurvivalWare model).   Once this process is completed, a row map file is saved and used each time you load new data.

 

 

Click the Row Map  icon to start mapping the line items from your Financial Statements to the rows in the SurvivalWare financial model.
